Our Courses

Clarity's courses aim to equip Humanitarian Staff with skills to both prevent and respond to the most prevalent security threats they face in the course of their duties in insecure environments.

The following range of courses are available for 2012 – if these do not meet your needs please contact us to discuss tailored training.

Security for Frequent Travellers and Programme staff in Medium Risk Countries (3 Days)

For staff visiting high risk countries and for staff working in medium risk countries or in high risk countries where field travel outside of capital city is limited.

However as our 4 day courses are often oversubscribed we also offer this course to those who didn’t make the list for one of our 4 day courses - it hits 80% of the objectives of the 4 day course and would be suitable for those with field experience especially when a rapid deployment is required.

To fit the three day schedule this course spends less time on security management, field comms and vehicle security and the sessions on site security and the interpersonal simulation exercise are dropped.
